Can pets eat fish (cooked, boneless)?

Dogs OK IN SMALL AMOUNTS

Plain cooked fish (salmon, whitefish) is fine occasionally — always deboned, never raw salmon (parasite risk in Pacific NW).

Cats OK IN SMALL AMOUNTS

Cats love it, and plain cooked fish is fine — but it must not replace balanced cat food (thiamine issues with all-fish diets).

Why

Great in rotation, problematic as a diet.
